glutton for punishment
my bestie lizzie loves to fall for guys that are wrong for her. whether it’s a drug problem, another woman, or just complete inability to be emotionally available to her-there is always some vice. and we are not talking about-but he seemed so perfect at first. we are talking from start to finish, obvious to everyone but her-this will not lead to anything but a broken heart!
the current object of her distraction is a strung-out looking artist type ten years her senior. i mean, she gets goo goo for him.
not that i can judge lizzie, considering my track record, but girl come on! if he put down his guitar and was like a lawyer or an accountant, she wouldn’t look twice. lizzie says she sees it for what it is-casual. she says she knows he will never come through for her the way she needs him to.
i’m not buying it. she is smitten. i’ll be here to pick up the pieces like i was the time before.
but i just don’t understand why women gravitate towards men who are just wrong!
